The Love in My Garden
A book concept for Children’s Book Illustration at Columbia College Chicago, spring 2024.
The Love in My Garden is a story about how love moved me to love others and learn what it meant to love myself. The story follows flower personas and the memories I had as a child of divorce and young trauma. The flow of the book has moments of fear, and how I got through it through my family and past friends. I also wanted to focus on the little joys of life I had when all I thought I saw was darkness.
